Avocado mayo

This Avocado mayo is perfect as a spread for sandwiches, burgers or as a dipping sauce for BBQ chicken wings, crisps, chips etc. The avocado mayo sauce is very easy to make. Just combine everything in a food processor or blender.

You will need

  • Food processor or blender


Serves 4
  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and destoned
  • 8 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 120 ml (4 1/2 fl oz) warm water
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp of lime juice
  • Salt

Preparation Method

10 minutes
  1. Place warm water and garlic in the food processor and blitz well.
  2. Add the rest of ingredients into the food processor and blitz again until a smooth. Taste and adjust the amount of salt as desired.
  3. Transfer avocado mayo dip sauce to an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3 days.
